RIPFEST #11 will formally launch this Saturday, April 10 when nearly 100 very talented film, television and theatre professionals will be brought together to create six original films: three short films and three movie-musicals. Each team will be comprised of a writer, director, producer, director of photography, editor, and composer (plus a lyricist and choreographer for the movie musicals) along with 4 actors. Team assignments will be announced on launch day, after which the teams will have 16 days to write, shoot and edit a 5-7 minute film which will debut for 1,000 people at three Screenings on Monday, April 26 at Anthology Film Archives. Are you excited yet?

*end of september i began a conservatory style class with Deena Levy. its actor-soul nurturing and it is solidifying my process in ways that are exciting and deepening in all directions.

*In Vivo is now completed and will be submitted to festivals for 2010-11.

*Theater For the New City is slated to produce a one-act play, by Phillip Suraci, in which i'll be playing the lead in March-April 2010. More on that as it develops!

last Friday night, along with the apples and honey rosh hashana brings to the table, Ruby had her sister fly in from the midwest (you remember - the one who cooked three fresh meals each day of our film shoot. yummmy), and a with a buffet full of farm fresh food and Ruby's mother-in-law's exquisite cooking we gathered in reunion to view our work...

In Vivo - Through The Looking Glass, written and directed by Ruby Faulk and starring Elisa Blynn (moi!). Artful, Impressionistic, and thoughtfully produced, each and every one of the cast and crews creative signature is visible and palpable. congratulations and gratitude to Ruby for bringing us all into this experience!

i will have dvd's of my own soon and am looking forward to sharing and viewing with industry peops and friends.
